About Augustana Fans

This site was originally created in February of 2007 under the name ‘Hotel Roosevelt’. It started after going to a random concert after a friend had won tickets – it was the Goo Goo Dolls and Augustana opened for them. There music was heartfelt, moody, fun and completely different than anything I had heard recently – I was stuck.The name Hotel Roosevelt came from the song that first caught my attention. I can play it over and over and never get sick of it.The new domain – Augustana-net.org was bought in December of 2007 and renamed The Augustana Fan Network – striving to bring Augustana fans a bigger and better place to get their information, updates and congregate with other Augustana fans.

The site once again went over another transformation in 2010 after being stagnant for far too long, moving once again to another domain, augustanafans.com and being remained for the last (and final) time to Augustana Fans.
